Tony Cohen hates his pillow. He must. The guy never sleeps on it. He has so much happening he never stops moving.
 
His latest creation has been five years in the making. Its one of those, "damn, why didn't I think of that" ideas. It's simple enough:
 
He wants to make you famous.
 
So Hollywood and Me was born. Born of the simple need for models, actors, musicians and really any other creatives out there to have one location to store all their photos, demo reels, tearsheets....anything you need to get work. From now on, when sending your info to an agent or talent scout, modeling agent or casting director - voila, no more printing. No more stuffing envelopes. No more mailing costs. Just send a link to your profile on the Hollywood and Me site and you're done.
 
I've never had to go through these casting efforts but it sure seems like an enormous pain in the ass. Inefficient and expensive. Not anymore. Welcome to 2012 Hollywood. It's about time.
 

"There has to be a better way..." demanded a pissed off Tony Cohen.

We asked Tony how this all got started. "Basically I was pissed off," he says. Now understand, Tony is a great guy and he's really putting himself out there for this venture, but having grown up on the mean streets of Brooklyn; making his own way, by force of personality...being on the wrong side of Tony-pissed-off is not where you want to be.
 
The final straw for him was producing a film with Kevin Spacey. They were going through zed cards and headshots and actors were sending emails with attachments. There was chaos everywhere. Attachments got lost, headshots got buried in the piles. The process was wasting time and money for everyone. "There has to be a better way," he demanded.

He was right, and he set about putting together all the industry know-how and connections he would need to create an awesome new service. Now, at Bliss Magazine we are all about shaking up the status quo and redefining antiquated business practices. We think we can do things better.
 
Tony is the same kinda guy and that's why we love him so much. This article isn't a kiss-ass piece or a press release or blowing smoke up anyone's ego. You'll never find any of that crap here at Bliss. We respect the guy, what he's accomplished and we wanted to give the dude some well deserved credit.
 
He's redefining how casting is done in Hollywood. The game has changed. Tony's changed it.
 
And knowing Tony the way I do, you'll be wanting to either get on board, or get out of his way.
